RID rules state that CEUs must be postmarked by 12/31, or delivered electronically by 12/31 at 11:59pm to receive credit in that calendar year.   RID Sponsors then have 30 days to post these credits to the previous year's transcript.   So as long as we receive your completed project by these rules, your CEUs will be posted in the previous calendar year, marked as completed on 12/31 (or the date it was postmarked or received).

Yes!  There are only 2 categories of CEU types under RID:  Professionals Studies (PS) and General Studies (GS).  Under PS, there are extra labels called Specialization Categories, required for people who have specialized certificates. (like an SC:L, for example)  It can be helpful to think of these Specialization Categories a sub-labels under Professional Studies.   PPO is a Specialization category under the Professional Studies umbrella.  Ethics and Legal are other Specialization labels.  (RID does not require specific Ethics credits to be earned in a cycle, but some state licensing/certifications do.) Each project is approved for 6 months.  Extensions can be given available upon request per the following restrictions: requests for extensions must be made prior to the original expiration date and are subject to RID Certificate Maintenance Program rules, which state no independent, home-based project can last beyond 1 year from registration date.
