Active Mentoring Individualized Team Projects: up-to 2.0* CEUs, $120. Self-directed, pre-approval required prior to registration. This is the actual mentoring that happens between two interpreters who come as a pair to work on goals they establish together.  Usually the mentor is the CEU earner, but in both the mentor and the mentee can earn CEUs. They must register separately and establish separate goals per their role in the mentorship.  Since these projects are customized per professional pair and per experience. Pre-approval is required in accordance with RID criteria by RID Sponsor, Ginevra Deianni who will guide you through the process from step 1.  *The amount of CEUs earned are based on verified participation time logs per project.

How do I get started with an Active Mentoring Project?

1) After you have found a mentor/mentee to work with, email Ginevra Deianni, RID Sponsor at manager@iceucentral.com to get started.

Ginevra will send you the proper pre-populated RID form to help you establish measurable "SMART" goals together, and get your activities set appropriately for RID approval. (Please note this process must take place before you begin working together).  Each mentoring relationship is approved separately as its own project. Each participant earns CEUs for their work separately.  Mentorships that do not come to completion are not refunded. $110 CEU oversight and processing fee per project.
